Who this applies to

PicHaul serves two kinds of people: hosts, who create events and manage galleries, and guests, who upload photos and videos to an event without creating an account. Different parts of this policy apply depending on how you use the service.

Information we collect

• Host account details. When you sign up as a host we collect your name and email address so we can secure your account and send you important service notices.
• Event content. Photos, videos, names, and messages that guests submit to an event are stored so the host can view and download them.
• Guest identification. Guests are asked to provide a name with each upload. This helps hosts know who shared each memory and discourages unsolicited submissions.
• Usage data. We collect basic technical information such as device type and browser to keep the service running smoothly.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to operate the service, store and deliver event media to hosts, keep accounts secure, prevent abuse, and improve the product. We do not sell your personal information.

Sharing and disclosure

Event content is shared only with the host who owns the event. We may share limited information with trusted service providers who help us run PicHaul (for example, file storage), and only as needed to provide the service. We may disclose information if required by law.

Data retention

Event media is retained for as long as the host keeps the event. Hosts can delete individual uploads or an entire event at any time, which permanently removes the associated content from our systems.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. Hosts can manage and delete their own events and content directly. For any other request, contact us using the details below.
