Security

Last updated: June 14, 2026

Protecting the memories people trust us with is a core part of what we do. Here is an overview of how we keep your events and content safe.

Encryption in transit

All traffic between your device and PicHaul is encrypted using industry standard HTTPS, so your photos, videos, and account details are protected while they travel across the internet.

Secure storage

Uploaded media is stored on reputable cloud infrastructure with access controls in place. Files are associated with their event and are only made available to the host who owns that event.

Access control

  • Host accounts are protected by authentication, and each host can only access their own events and galleries.
  • Guests upload through a unique event link and never gain access to other events or to host accounts.
  • Requiring a guest name on every upload helps hosts review submissions and discourages anonymous or unsolicited content.

Your role in security

Keep your host login credentials private and share event links only with people you intend to invite. If you believe your account has been accessed without your permission, contact us right away.

Reporting a vulnerability

We welcome responsible disclosure. If you discover a security issue, please email us at hello@pichaul.com so we can investigate and address it promptly.
